While most of our Greater Houston Community has had power restored, the gulf coast is still recovering from our friend, Ike. Our neighbors have been left homeless, lives, businesses destroyed and we still have a long road ahead. Now more than ever, we recognize our call to action to help our neighbors on this road to recovery.
Houston Mayor Bill White established The Gulf Coast Ike Relief Fund www.ghcf.org to help fill unmet human needs for victims of Hurricane Ike, supporting nonprofit organizations that provide immediate relief in the area – shelter and temporary housing, food and household supplies, transportation and child care.

Give a Little Bit is an important fundraising effort that contributes to the recovery of the Houston and outlying communities. A network of young business, artist and volunteer leaders are reaching out to the community for support in order to meet our fundraising goal for this important evening. Proceeds from the evening will go to the Gulf Coast Relief Fund. We are reaching out to our business community to help underwrite the event expences to ensure that 100% of the monies collected can be donated to the fund. In exchange for your generous, tax-deductible donations, Give a Little Bit will provide logo placement on our website and verbal acknowledgement at the event itself.
